Addams Family Meets Romantic Goth: A Maternity Photo Shoot in Brisbane's spookiest Forest

When Kelsey and Michael approached me for their maternity photo shoot, I was beyond excited. They wanted to capture their love in a way that was both romantic and goth-inspired, with a touch of the iconic Addams Family. And where better to do that than in the dark and moody burned-out forests I happened upon in my travels around Brisbane?

We started the session by exploring the forest, with Kelsey and Michael dressed in their blackest, most romantic attire. They looked like they stepped out of a grown-up emo kid fairy tale, with Kelsey's flowing black dress and Michael's fanciest fit. It was like photographing a modern-day Morticia and Gomez Addams - I mean, can it get any more romantic than that?

As we walked deeper into the forest, we found the perfect spot for the photoshoot. The trees were tall and the light was dim, creating an eerie yet intimate atmosphere. I encouraged Kelsey and Michael to be playful and show off their love for each other, and they didn't disappoint. They laughed, danced, and even played with a few props we brought along.

Throughout the session, I couldn't help but feel like we were part of a romantic horror movie. The shadows, the darkness, the love - it all came together to create a unique and unforgettable photo shoot. And when I looked at the photos later, I could feel the love between Kelsey and Michael jumping out of the images.

If you're an alternative couple looking for a maternity photo shoot that's both romantic and spooky, then look no further. This session with Kelsey and Michael shows that you can embrace your love in a unique and unconventional way, while still capturing the beauty and magic of this special time in your lives.

I would like to acknowledge that this session was held on the traditional lands of the the Yurarabul people, and pay my respect to Elders both past, present and future.
